Oh, celiacs shouldn't have a problem, though, because the communion wafer is literally transubstantiated into the body of Christ. There's gluten in the wafer but once the priest abracadabras it, it's not a wafer anymore.

There you go, that's thinking rationally. I like it.

No, life is not pointless without children. Children are one way to make a positive difference in this world, if you can raise them properly, but if you can't, or just don't want to, best you try some other way. And if there's no other way for you and all you want to do is be self-indulgent, then you're a waste of food, air, and water, and probably vote for the right, if you bother to vote at all.

I got messed up when you lead with the conjection and at a glace i mis-interpreted what you wrote as two seperate ideas.

Sorry for telling you to F-off and giving you the red.

I hardly ever see a sentence lead with a conjection after a period.

The point of life is to serve God, and God said to go forth and multiply. So many of you are only getting the half of it. Yes, you've multiplied but have you gone forth?

...and Fourth is OK I guess, if you care to settle.
:)
First is much better

Hey Johnnny...

Don't wait for the perfect time to have kids...you'll end up being too old. I know of what I speak. My girls just turned 13 today, and I'm 51.

It's time, money and energy. Thankfully though, I'm still quite youthful for my age and forever young at heart.

Exactly.

When I think of all the hardships and struggle that those before me went through for me to exist, it blows my mind.

To snub all that effort is something I see as the most selfish thing a person could do.

Not having kids is the new, nature took you out of the gene pool.

100 years ago nature took you out by accident or bad health. The more things change the more they stay the same.

You get the chance to do it all over again...to experience your second childhood vicariously through your own offspring.

I've loved every minute of being a Dad. I believe I'd be a miserable single person.

My childhood sucked. I dont want a second one whether it be real or done vicariously. Its not that anything particularly bad happened to me growing up, it was nothing plenty of other kids didnt experience, i just disliked it. I spent my whole childhood wanting to grow up, being a child physically was something I disliked. Plenty of my friends wish they could go back to that to avoid bills and responsibilities. Not me, Ill take bills and responsibilities as adulthood also comes with freedom.

Also, even if you hadnt had children it doesnt mean you would have had to be single. There are plenty of childless couples out there.

I love my kids but if I had a second chance I would be more selfish and wouldn't have given in to social pressure.

I'm very fortunate to have a supportive family and I will do the same for them, but if we're going to be selfish for a minute here, I know life would be much easier and there would be an enormous opportunity to make a societal contribution elsewhere.

Having less kids would have been you're contribution to society.

Whether I have kids or not I'm still going to die. Whether or not my genes live on after my death is irrelevant to me - as I'll be dead. If I did reproduce the genes going on would still only be temporarily. Sooner or later those genes will die in future generations as will our species on a long enough time scale.

In the old days you could count on the huge family to take care of the old folks in the golden years.
Then they killed the family and made it about old age pensions.
Now they have killed the pensions.

Oh yeah, government - democide - the biggest killer of all time.
What were we thinking?

Its as close to immortality as anyone's going to get. But be my guess. Take yourself out . More resources for my gene's to continue

Angstrom, would you consider a Don Juan who impregnates women in every part of town as making a great contribution to society?

Yes, society needs kids, and yes, having kids is a great contribution, but so is raising the kids.

I payed 30000$ of taxes last year for this bullshit society. And i have foreign investors buying up all the land driving up prices of living up the fuking roof while paying out 10.5 million dollars to terrorist who have been on welfare since they moved here.

Hows that for a buzz kill
