Death threats? Who would threaten to kill a symphony orchestra? The Americans? Those perveyors of wanton death and destruction! I don't think so. Must be the "Noble Freedom Fighters" endeavoring to free Iraq from the oppression of a Symphony.

Actually I don't count the Americans out of this threat. It is very important for them to keep Iraq on edge.

In Melville's Moby Dick, Captain Ahab, in his relentless pursuit of the Great White Whale, nailed a gold doubloon on the mast.

This doubloon is for any man who spots the white whale first.

Each man comes and looks at the doubloon and what it represents for them.

It's the same doubloon, but all who see it, see something else, mostly something that is in themselves, their own needs, hopes, wishes, biases.

And so it is when moghrabi posts a doubloon for all to see for he is relentless to kill the great white whale, and that doubloon is for you and me and what we see in it.

The fact that Bush lied is an overwhelming truth and your crusade is just, but this great white whale of yours unfortunately makes you least suited to see or hear anything else, as it might distract you from your WHALE.

It is possible to notice other truths during your hunt.

It is just. But their is only one truth, the rest are opinions.

In every job you or I ever had, we all instinctively knew what the Boss wanted without the Boss telling us all of the time.

I think the CIA, FBI and any other intelligence gathering aparatus knew what the BOSS wanted.

It is why Bolton should get skewered. I happen to agree with Bolton's description of the UN but his activity in threatening the fact-finders is related to the whole idea of how the BOSS or POLICY tells INTELLIGENCE-GATHERING what to say.

Your truth is an obsession. To say someone on the American side, even with all the skullduggery, actually wants the Iraqi musicians to be threatened is a rush to judgement with no proof but your well worn suit of distrust.

When you keep it to the particular truth that Bush policy influenced the fact-gatherers then you have me on board.

But I gotta jump ship when your truth obsessively blots out the sun that makes visible many other matters.

Your government was involved in many more serious crimes than just threaten an orchestra. There is where to begin taking about how they use threat to get their way. We are threatened as Canadians for not supporting the war.

Your Police government will go to any length to establish its hold on anything. Threating an orchestra from playing is small in comparison.

I have major problems with USG involvement in the world. It is not as black and white. It is not between you and me.

I once was a victim to the atrocities that your USG and their dogs (Zionists) did in my home country. I have seen what they are capable of doing. I feel for the people of Iraq and what they must be going through.

The USG will (I repeat will) do whatever it takes to establish its mindset on others, to control them, to abuse them, rob them and so on so every American can have their SUV, BMW, and 2 other cars. I hate the attitude that any other person on this planet can be a collateral damage as long as they are not Americans. I hate to see the USG supporting dictators when they are doing their jobs for them and then turn against them. I hate to see why you have 2 standards in the ME. You say human rights in Iraq, yet you support a more repressive regimes such as Saudi Arabia, and the Gulf states.

I can go on and on and on. But i am tired of it all. It is a sick world we live in where the strong bullies the weak even in our school system. We are conditioned in the west that the stronger you are the bullier you can be.
