Israel uncovered on Friday that Iran has lately leased from the Assad regime an airport in central Syria, hinting it would target it.
Israeli military sources asserted that Tel Aviv would not allow Tehran to lease an airport in Syria, and would also confront current Syrian-Iranian negotiations to establish a land base capable of supporting Iranian-linked fighters.
According to the same sources, the land base would be able to back 5,000 Iranian militiamen believed to be mercenaries from Afghanistan and Pakistan under the command of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards

In addition; Israel is attempting to prevent Lebanon from drilling for gas/oil off the coast. Israel is seeking to annex a zone of 860 square kilometres (330 square miles).

Also; Israel is planning to wall off a 25- kilometer-square patch of hilly land known as Shabaa Farms because of the fresh water resources there. Lebanon has vowed to bomb every brick before it Is even laid.

Well on many threads we are fighting about getting oil to tidewater , and the efforts of those on the left opposing them . Here the Israelis appear to be blocking access of oil to tidewater . You seem to be in oppositition of Alberta oil reaching tidewater yet in favour of Iranian oil reaching tidewater . Does that spell it out clearly enough ?

You must have me confused with some other member.

I would rather see Alberta oil being sold at the world market price rather than the 60 percent price it is sold to America.

I would like to see B.C. build an oil refinery at the Alberta border which would refine the oil so that if a pipeline does leak, that the damage to the environment is not so great.
