Trump was spending the weekend at his Florida club. In an earlier post on his Truth Social platform, he anticipated that many countries would send warships to allow shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, a conduit for 20% of the world's oil. He said in his post he hoped China, France, Japan, South Korea, Britain and others would send vessels.🤞

(There was no immediate indication of plans to do so by any of the countries)

"In the meantime, the United States will be bombing the hell out of the shoreline, and continually shooting Iranian Boats and Ships out of the water," U.S. President Donald Trump wrote.

He's not a Jew...
Ok. Not sure if that was asked, but this is probably relevant somehow to someone for some reason.

I’m not sure what the criteria is to be the “most unpopular war ever” but war in general isn’t popular, and any war that America has to put boots on the ground in a foreign land, becomes more unpopular (or is that less popular?) with the American population, so as far as ‘current’ wars go that America is ‘currently’ involved in…I would concur with your assessment of the situation in general.

Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz has choked off a fifth of the world’s oil and inflicted a punishing price on the global economy as it pushes oil prices higher. The pressure is mounting on the Trump administration for a quick end to the war, but is that even possible at this point?

The global economy is currently being kicked in the balls, but maybe we’ll get some good anti-war music out of this or something.

The massive increase in gas prices isn't caused by the war itself. Actually, it is not even a war. More like a much needed policing action. AKA taking out the garbage. The price at the pump is theft, pure and simple. Canada has oil and refineries. The oil belongs to Canadians. More specifically it belongs to the citizens of the oil produicing provinces, so ther eis no excusr other than political cowardice for us to pay world price for gas.
Our price for gas and diesel must be decoupled from the commodities market, which is just a casino game for the rich, and be based on the cost of production. The current extortion by commodities traders is about to cause serious and irreparable damage to our economy.
Even our little company has had over a million dollars of construction work placed on hold because of current economic situation. One of the projects was just stopped mid stream. I will finish some civil work there monday. The other we will complete the demolition currently under way, but the no new construction will start.

Yes it's caused by the war.

NOPE. That is just the excuse. How much Canadian oil goes to the middle east? What other countries, or more correctly their rulling class is prepared to pay for gas and diesel is not relevant to Canadian taxpayers needs. The fact is we have a spineless government that not only hates the west, and believes in AGW, execpt for the fuel that jets use to take politicians and bureaucraps on world cruises, but gets an increase in revenue from extra taxes while pretending to not be the bad guy.
This, of course will soon make the economy crash but by then it will be too late. Russia of course is laughing all the way to the bank. Which many with serious TDS claim was the plan all along.

Why is there this war (or police action, or a military action, or whatever it’s being called)? Is it the Jews for $200 Alex? Is it because that Benjamin Netanyahu isn’t Jewish? Maybe something about a nuclear program and missile capabilities? Something else? Perhaps another regime change attempt? Maybe the bigger war (can I say war here yet?) between America and China over trade and BRIC’s influence?

1773603906101.jpeg Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told CBS that Tehran has been “approached by a number of countries” seeking safe passage for their vessels, “and this is up to our military to decide.” He said a group of vessels from “different countries” had been allowed to pass, without providing details.

Iran has said the strait is open to all except the United States and its allies. Those are some pretty selective naval mines I guess.

Gulf Arab states reported new missile and drone attacks a day after Iran called for the evacuation of three major ports in the United Arab Emirates — the first time it has directly threatened a neighboring country’s non-U.S. assets?

Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE said they were working to intercept projectiles. Iran has fired hundreds of missiles and drones at the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman during the war, causing significant damage and rattling economies even as most are intercepted. Tehran says it targets U.S. assets, even as Iranian strikes are reported at civilian sites such as airports and oil fields….& that hotel if Dubai, etc…
