yes, women has broken out of their natural rolls as child nurturers, and men have been challenged to break their natural stereotype behaviour.
People spend more time figuring out what is the meaning of life, many get lost along the way. Its hard when no one knows exactly what is expected of them.

I suppose that if they are old enough to utter the words 'I do', that may be the lowest possible age for marriage.

Setting an exact age to draw the line is stupid as it's not all about a matter of chronological age. Some 12 year olds are fully functional women, (at least from a physical stand point) while some are still little girls playing with their dolls.

How about 30 - 45 and by then you are supposedly smarter than you were at 16 and that should make you a better parent. Or have a baby young enough that your parents are still young enough to raise them and since they already have some experience in what obviously doesn't work.
