I can't believe people would vote Communist. Socialism is one thing but communism isn't democratic.

Telling me or others who would vote for a fringe party how to vote is not democracy.

I wrote I would vote for the Marxist Leninist as a fringe choice. I already voted and it wasn't the Marxist-Leninist.

The Communist party of Canada is much better then the arxist leninists. The ML are Stalinists. At least vote for the water downed communists. lmao.

Anyhow if both communist parties had the funds to run a mp in all 308, I doubt they would even get a combined pop vote of more then 1.5%. In the most purist of PR systems out there they would only get 3 seats if they combined, and in PR with a threshold even combined they wouldn't get a seat, and in MMP they had no hope .

Here's a little history for you. FPTP actually elected a communist to the Canadian Parliment once, Fred Rose. Look it up if you don't believe me.

Also in Ontario the Communist party and the Liberal party once formed an alliance to try to weaken the CCF(NDP). Don't believe me, look up Liberal Labour in Ontario and I believe it was the 1945 election. =-D

I'd vote for the Libertarian party, just because I love the fact that there's a party out there that's fighting for my right to live in a backwoods compound, run a marijuana/shroomie grow-op, own a frightening arsenal of assault weapons, and live as a polygamyst by marrying a troupe of illegally immigrated lady-boy prostitutes.
