I'm going to run in an election in a couple of years after I finish university.

Good luck to you.

I ascribe to no particular party, I vote for what is best for my country and my family. We need strong honest people in government. I am old enough to be severly jaded by what I have seen that has passed for open and honest government.

Surprisingly, I would not pick Ralph, although I loved what he did for Alberta.

What are you talking about?!? With Ralph as PM everyone in Canada would have the oportunity to to the Alberta rueful:

* shrug *

That's our Ralph!

:lol:

But right now, Harper is the best person, man or woman, for the job, and every day he continues to reinforce my opinion. I hope we get at least two years out of this government, because it may just open peoples eyes. Even those on the left.

I would support Mr Harper if his party could just stop thinking about sex, stick to being fiscally conservative, and leave the social part of it alone.

He made a campaign promise, and he has followed through with virtually all his other promises, so why not this one about SSM? Although, I would rather this went to a country wide referendum. That would be interesting. But let Harper have his vote, I think he knows he will lose, and he can always say that he kept his promise. Why do you think he will have it in a minority situation?
