Oh my goodness! Since it's against the rules and I'm not the one with the editing talent it'd be easiest to post a link to the images IF that means I don't have to add lots of black censor bars.

And durka, I'll pass that request on to my son for you.

on just about any comp, if you right click on an image, it gives you the option to edit. choose to edit it in 'paint', and you could have it censored inside of a minute.

My husband and I are not into politics. We don't vote; we are American. I am concerned because my 15 year old son- who claims not to be political either- has been creating poorly photoshopped porn of Obama, Ron Paul and Hilary Clinton. For example, I found a picture on his computer of Ron Paul's head crudely pasted on to a nude woman's body. The Ron Paul woman was performing a disgusting sex act on a male who now has the head of Ms. Clinton. There are several pictures like this with various other Political figures (John Edwards, Maria Shriver, John Howard, the list goes on), and a few featuring Dustin Diamond, or "Screech" from the television program Saved By The Bell. I am posting here because I do not know what to make of this, and I found these forums in his internet history. At first I thought it must be some kind of inside joke but he has gone to great lengths to hide these images in a Windows system folder which leads me to believe he is "using" the photos for self gratification. Right now I'm debating whether or not I should confront him, delete the images, or pretend I didn't see them and let life go on as usual. My husband gets off work several hours after my son returns home from school, so consulting him at the moment is out of the question.

If anyone has any insight or advice please share.

The only comment that I can make is that your son must be Westmanguy.

This sounded like satire when I first read it but I gave the poster the benefit of the doubt. Once the photos started appearing in Wreck Beach I stopped buying this as legitimate. It's damn funny though.

lmao@"political satire porn". I think you have created a whole new genre now Karrie.

I think if I was in the political satire porn business, I would have Jean Chretien being penetrated by Lucien Bouchards peg leg.

You know what would be born from that union?

Phooey! Counsellor see bad boy in everything. Bad boy is good boy when he can craft together satyre - naughty or not - with that rough edge that acknowledges the edit.... Good job, Mom and Dad, for being open-minded enough not to discourage him - even if you may not agree. I wish my parents had been as supportive.

Woof!

Its not about seeing the child in a certain light. Its about making sure he is okay. Endorsing crativity and supporting a child in a positive cause - kudos. But seeing this situation, I have to say the right thing to do is to make sure the child is okay. Im not about to give parenting advice. I would say that there needs to be more communication.

Migawd! How much more communication can there be? Parents asked some difficult and potentially embarassing questions. Kid answered honestly and candidly - even to fessing up to other stuff they weren't aware of. The kid's okay. The parents are okay. Too bad most parents weren't as open honest trusting and trusted.

Woof!

My dear I agree that they made the right choice by bringing it up. What I meant was this shouldnt be forgotten because he answered the questions in a certain way. It could be nothing...but...well based on what this is all about and how it is being brought forth, Im just concerned. Thats all. The final decision on what the parents do is theirs. However, I just thought I would express my views due to the fact that I'm familiar with counselling concerns.

I'm actually an old old friend of Doc's. He invited me here to have a few laughs, but he's been banned for some ridiculous off-forum reason so I guess that's my cue to leave. You guys have a nice little community here but some of you are way too dramatic for my taste.

Crazy son of a worry wart

You have the expert opinions of many good folk. Your son is normal.

But he has a parent that is peeking at his deviant black teenage art. Should he have you see a shrink?

Confront your own demons counsellor, namely your son. Admit that you are baffled and dismayed by this graphic black comedy, and advise the boy to make something more marketable because everybody that you've shared his pictures with apparently have already seen this sort of thing, and they aren't buying.

At least you did not find YOUR head pasted to a goat.

Meanwhile back in the year one -- you didn't stand a chance son, if your pants were undone.

Don't know how that relates to your problem, but it's certainly worth looking into.

I can't stop laughing

You guys, so funny! Oy. Dear Mrs. Itsadebacle, if you are really seeking help here, and I would suspect you've been frightened off by now, (still laughing here), seriously, if your child shows artistic talent, encourage him. If your child has any talent, encourage him. If your child has no talent, encourage him. That's your job, as a parent. Simple stuff, really.
