What you have is a bunch of control freeks ruining your town. Happens almost everywhere when citizens are too complacent tostop this nonsence at the ballot box.

PoliticalNick, this entire thread is premised on something that isn't true.

Section 1 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms — the delimiting clause — means that the Parliament of Canada has the authority to enact laws that establish reasonable limits on rights and freedoms where it is "demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society." This clause is a defence of the supremacy of Parliament.

In your vexatious RV example, a municipal bylaw regulating the placement of vehicles has nothing to do with your constitutional freedoms as set out in the Charter. Section 1 would have no place or application in a discussion around whether the bylaw is valid.

This entire thread is based on nonsense.

actually guys, look up the Oakes test, it is a set of guidelines to define whether an infringement of a right is justified.
