Hither and yon
There are divisions in the party to be expected Harper will not lead the
Tories into the next election and Jason is going to make a run at it.
Ford is an idiot and its time he left probably the smartest thing Jason has
done. The Finance Minister is an old friend that may be so but when the
train is completely off the rails you can't defend the actions of a fool and
a miscreant.
Don't think so, but that's just me.

Harper will take one more kick at the can in 15.
I think he figures he deserves it.
And the party will back him although few sitting MP's may decide not to run again.
If he wins a minority he will step down and we will be in an election within a year or two.
If he wins a majority it will be his last term in office, 3 more years at most.
If he looses and mini-me and the Libs get a minority Harper will step down humiliated.
If mini-me gets a majority you won't see Harper for the dust cloud.

With luck McKay,Baird,Kenny, Chong and Alexander will compete for the leadership with possibly Jim Prentice and Danny Williams.
Conrad Black will probably not get invited.
Chris Hadfield probably will be.

My guess is a do nothing minority for Justin with the CPC leadership then going to Prentice.

Not Jason- He does not have it- But he is swinging into a major role as a kingmaker.
He has donations rolling into his riding from across the country.

Fords Mother supports Rob and said so on TV right after the Lisi situation was revealed.

Actually she said the only thing wrong with him is he is a little overweight.

She appeared to be a strong, yet in denial, woman whom I think is an enabler (along with Doug) to Rob's not stepping out of the spotlight for a few months to let things simmer down.

Flaherty need not worry about her being some weak lady in distress........

Well we should grab a cross and crucify her as well. How dare the bitch defend her drug addict son. She should be out here with the rest of us, pitch fork and torch in hand!

Yep, thank god my mom was there for me. She even bailed me out of jail once. Granted I handed over my paychecks until she got the money back, but everyone has a Mum.
and some are better than others, a title does not a mother make

I would have a microsmidgeon of sympathy for the silence of the lamby Tories, if they didn't wish to tear the heart out of every opponent, build more prisons "just because", and be so hypocritical. Yep, mums are great,; if you're not with the mums, you're with the terrorists.
