Interesting question here,

what would you say no to when it comes to improving Human life?

new drugs that can cure illnesses that are currently life threatening, New Technology to make us live longer, cell reproduction, finding ways to fix spinal cord injuries, reverse permanent diseases.

new devices that make living easier and more productive for ourselves,

banning products that knowingly hurt and kill human beings, (IE Smoking, guns, drugs)

Space travel, new forms of Power.. Hydrogen, Fusion (if they can ever do it)

Artificial land to help with over population, Cities within Buildings,

At what point do you say "this is too much"

I figure all things live in balance. We won't get to be the ones who say 'enough is enough'.... the earth will say if for us when we can simply no longer grow food, we've lost fertility, etc.

There has never been a drug that cures anything. Banning harmful contraband will never happen and has nothing to do with science. New forms of power will remain tucked away as retrofitting is something nobody wants to pay for. And there is no such thing as overpopulation.

Sorry sunshine but those weren't cured or eliminated. TB is back with a vengence and leprosy is alive and well even here in Canada.

both are naturally occuring bacteria... you can't eliminate them. But plenty of individuals have been cured of them.

If it costs human life to save life, the point of saving is a bit moot. The numbers matter, in this case, though. Killing one to save multiples doesn't seem as bad as a straight trade.
If killing off other forms of life to save human life results in the degradation of the quality of human life, then it should not be allowed.
Education and regulation are the keys, but some gov't sponsoring should end.

well I really believe that they need to get over this Religious aspect of it. We're here to improve man kind.. but at what cost? Obviously killing someone is not the answer, for any sort of experiment. But stem cell research is a good way to find the answers to many of our problems that have been haunting us for years.
