have u studied anyof the irrational numbers? pi and phi for instance?
I know what pi is and have some what an idea of what phi is.
The symbol of the man in the circle is called I believe "the measure of the man"?

Anyways I've read where phi is the distance between the feet to the mans navel as compared to from the navel to the top of his head. Am I correct in that?

Also the picture of the Lords Supper, that Micheal Angelo used phi to measure the height of the windows in the picture compared to the rest of the picture, or something like that.

Educate me on that and I will work with you on numbers in the bible.

well pi as we both know is very cloely linked with circles and spheres, which makes it very relavent to nature and the very structure of the universe.

phi seems to contain a natural beauty. It shows up in nature all over the place. you can find it in the proportions of peoples legs arms bodies and faces. although weirdly not genitalia, which is why statues are usually shown with small penises, it makes a better proportion.

the ratio which defines the spiral of a snail shell, and the spiral of leaves around the stems of many plants, and the spiral of the seeds in a sunflower head. I've also recently learned that you can make a photo look a lot better by placing any lines or points of interest at roughly two thirds (close to phi) of the way across the field of view... seriously try this and tell me it doesnt make a photo look ten times better. Most artists knew the golden ratio a long time ago and used it in their works.

it's also unique in that if you take the inverse of it, you end up with the same number, just with a 1 before the decimal ie 1/0.618 = 1.618

Phi really freaks me out in that it turns up everywhere.

Also apparently since pi and phi and other irrational numbers are infinite in length when shown as decimals, they theoretically contain, encoded, the entire works of shakespear, the bible, and the satanic bible. forwards AND backwards.

I have a better plan, and it's totally free! No easy payments, no down payment and is meant for the number 6!
6 being the number of a man.
All one has to do is believe and trust in Jesus! That's is all!
If there are to be any changes, He will institute them in you.
Come as you are and sup with Him and He will sup with you.

Well, I am 6' tall, I have 6 fingers (plus a couple spares and two thumbs), 6 toes (plus 4 spares), I have 6 dogs (minus 4), 6 facial features (2 eyes, 2 ears, a beak, and a yap), 6 appendages (minus 1), etc. Oh, yeah. It's all highly significant .
Um, of course numbers are weaved into everything, motion, size, etc. It's what physics is all about. Duh.

No I'm am not. But to have a good understandings of the works of God, numbers in the bible are key.
Jesus is my Savior! Apart from Him there is nothing else. Numbers are weaved in all His works.

In a word, nonsense. There are not hidden number keys in the Scriptures, other then in the minds of people who make even the simplest thing complicated.

“But no one in this earthly prison of the body has sufficient strength to press on with due eagerness, and weakness so weighs down the greater number that, with wavering and limping and even creeping along the ground, they move at a feeble rate. Let each one of us, then, proceed according to the measure of his puny capacity and set out upon the journey we have begun. No one shall set out so inauspiciously as not daily to make some headway, though it be slight. Therefore, let us not cease so to act that we may make some unceasing progress in the way of the Lord. And let us not despair at the slightness of our success; for even though attainment may not correspond to desire, when today outstrips yesterday the effort is not lost. Only let us look toward our mark with sincere simplicity and aspire to our goal; not fondly flattering ourselves, nor excusing our own evil deeds, but with continuous effort striving toward this end: that we may surpass ourselves in goodness until we attain to goodness itself. It is this, indeed, which through the whole course of life we seek and follow. But we shall attain it only when we have cast off the weakness of the body, and are received into full fellowship with him.”

All hail the new god, Phi. :D
Wanna get into phrenology next?

ever heard of retrophrenology?

i read about it in the books of Terry Pratchett as a kid. The reasoning goes as follows:

if the lumps and bumps and contours of your head give rise to aspects of your personality, then surely the personality itself can be altered by carefully applying lumps and bumps TO the head in question. So essentially u end up paying a troll to hit you on the head with a hammer.

Where is this quotation from? Quite enjoyed it.

dont you think it is hard enough trying to understand the bible without looking for secret codes or whatever?

The bible can be hard to understand but with determination and perseverance in studying , the Holy Spirit will grant understanding.

God wants us to continuously seek Him out.

The number 7 for instance: Have you noticed how plentiful the number 7 is in the bible?

Why? Because the number 7 means completeness, fullness and God used it to reveal His wonderful works in full.

I mean think about it! Why would Jesus even consider the number 7 when talking to Peter? Surely there must be something of great importance to God.

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
There is a an entire constellation of reasons why the omniscient Lord Jesus Christ chose the number 490 = 70 x 7 to represents the perfection of forgiveness. First, there is the immediate, double integration with the meaning of Seven as Perfection and Completeness. The duplication emphasizes the meaning, as when Jesus says "Truly, Truly" to emphasize the importance of what He is saying. But the integration goes much deeper than this.
Returning to Genesis, we find that the seventh occurrence of the name Noah is used in the phrase (Genesis 6.9) "Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations." The word translated as perfect is file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/OWNER%7E1.ABE/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/msohtml1/01/clip_image001.gif(Thammim). We have the identity:
file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/OWNER%7E1.ABE/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/msohtml1/01/clip_image001.gif(Thammim, Perfect) = 490 = 70 x 7
Consider the degree of integration represented here: The Hebrew word Thammim literally means perfect, which is the symbolic meaning of Seven; Thammim first appears in conjunction with the seventh occurrence of Noah's name; the numeric weight of Thammim is both a multiple of seven and exactly equal to the value the Lord chose to represent the perfection of forgiveness! There is no end to the wonder of God's Wisdom!>>>The bible wheel
If one wants to stay at a plateau of knowledge, than seek no further study.
There is no need to advance except for one who wants to know more about the God of creation and His wonderful works.

There is no, I repeat NO, secret number codes in the Scriptures. It would be impossible to have correlate. AJ fails to remember that the Scriptures were not authored by a single man, but by several over long periods of time. The suggestion that these different people somehow tied secret number codes into the books of the Bible is, frankly, outright stupid.
