Yes, we can ask for anything as such as you discribed, but remember, that God does not look at what you did, but at your heart. There He will find the true intend of your request.

As for me, I'd throw you in prison for stealing from your employer. As for your family, well, they hold the choice for forgiveness. And as for your honey, the secretary, I wish you well.
Then after all that, if and when your heart is right with God, then seek forgiveness, and you shall have it.

Funny. I always thought everyone's hearts were pumps, not declarations of intent or qualifications of "goodness". I know my heart's job is just to move blood around. Perhaps everyone else's biological processes are different, though, but I'm nor going to take them apart to look.

The flesh keeps us blind if we choose to, but as soon as an effort is made towards God, the intent of your heart will be noticed and mercy and grace will be extended to you. For free!

That is what this life is all about, giving of yourself to help others have life more abundantly.
Compassion is at the core of what the creator is, mercy and forgiveness conquers anything the flesh has to demonstrate.
We all have our faults and our weaknesses, but within those [FONT="]parameter[/FONT]s, God knows how to work in them and in them.
