The choice of wording in that add is clearly intended to offend. There is nothing wrong with the idea in principle of reaching out to these girls and trying to help them, but the wording of the add comes across as if its main concern is to take a puck shot at Muslims in general and comes across as insincere.

Frankly, I don't have a problem with the ad - if it "offends" some people, awww shucks. Guess the truth hurts! But in this politically correct world, I think all they had to do is remove the word "Muslim" and the add should have been re-done. But, I've been wrong before....

While the Muslims are the biggest offenders, they're not the only ones which is why the ad should still have run without "Muslim" in it.

to remove any reference to islam, you'd have to remove the name of the org that took out the ad on city property.... SIOA is an anti Islamic organization.
