Way too late for collection. Collection companies work on commission, usually around 30% so essentially this is just a scam. Possibly could even be harassment.

Pretty cheap to send out a bill and as the old saying goes "there's a sucker born every minute"!!

I think fruck off is the most apt statement here I wouldn't even admit I owed it under
these circumstances.

I had fun with one of them once. They were calling me about a bill not paid and it
wasn't going to be paid. At first I thought it a joke. A vet bill and bounced check.
This went on for weeks and I neglected to tell them they were after the wrong person.
There are five people in town with my name and I didn't have a pet.
Its like having the JW's come to your door only on the phone.
