heavy equipment mechanic looking for camp position

I am looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic camp job in Western Canada and would like to know if anyone would have advise on how to go about this.

It's two weeks to the start of harvest. You'd be better off working on farm equipment for next three months then head north for freeze up when equipment can be moved and used.

It's just an assumption on my part, but I assumed that, with everyone & their
dog try'n to capitalize on the Stimulus $$$, that a Heavy Equipment Operator
would be busy almost regardless of where they where located....8O

If the equipment is moving, then the Mechanic's would be too, wouldn't they?8O

I've been wrong before & often through. ;-)

Are you experienced with forestry equipment? Check the job boards in different regions. First aid is useful everv where. Oil & gas require some special certs. and won't be much now until freeze up. INFOMiNE has a good job board.
