Heat wave coming on week end

Ever swim at Stotan Falls? One of the best places near Courtenay! Our family enjoyed many hours there when the kids were small.

haven't swam there, but have been there many times, it is beautiful.

when I swim, I go to pt. holmes, and swim in the ocean, and that is only in temps like
we are having now.

we'll take the dog there tomorrow, just when the tide starts to come in, we'll do more walking
in the water than swimming, but I do some swimming, just to cool off.

I love the salt water, and the river is great too, but very cold.

Point Holmes is good. For a real treat go over to Tribune Bay on Hornby Island. We enjoyed many summer days over there, camping in our old tent trailer. There was a big Co op store right by the campground when we went there.

we've been to tribune bay many times, mostly by boat, a couple of times by car.
we've been to
many different areas of comox lake. guess you didn't see the fish and game club that was built
on the land at the end of the lake, it is beautiful, looks directly up the lake toward the
glacier. They have a gated rv park and boat launch. Wonderful property. We were there today,
to take the dog for a swim, we are members, so we have a key for the gate.
