I was watching the Liberal convention CPAC this weekend and Michael Ignatieff got his crowning glory.
What concerned me was that the Liberals passed a one member one vote resolution when picking a future leader.
This would eliminate future leadership conventions
When the Progressive Conservatives passed a similar resolution they almost lost their party to the New Democrats.
The one member one vote concept is simple you pay your ten dollars to join the party then you can vote for the leader of your choice.
The Reform/Conservatives took over the Progressive Conservatives in the same fashion by all their members buying PC memberships and Harper was able to merge the two parties.
Michael Ignatieff will have to act fast to solve this problem or he will find himself part of Stephen Harpers team and they will force the former Harvard man to supply quarterly reports
