Were I you, kid............I would not be holding my breath.
I won't be, I and a lot of Canadians have a lot to say about what's being done to this country by our "government".
Unless Harper plans an outright coup in the next election I doubt he's going to end up with enough MPs in Parliament to be PM again. His approval rating with Canadians is about what Nixon's was when he was forced to resign.
I get there's this constant campaign to build a cult of personality around Stephen Harper, but when it comes down to it he's much smaller than this nation and our history. We can do so much better despite what the big blue machine keeps trying to make us accept.

Canadians will re-elect him for a fourth term without any great enthusiasm. Canadians have never really warmed to this prime minister. Chances are they never will. He is too cold, too distant, perhaps too mean, to encourage affection. He is the exemplar of the cult of non-personality, the champion of charisma-free politics in an era when, sadly, anti-intellectualism, rules the national stage.
But he can win — and I think he will win — as long as he commands the one issue that concerns most Canadians: the economy. It's not going to be a whole lot of fun. But Mackenzie King was no fun, either, and he ruled Canada off and on for a total of 22 years.
This makes us sound like the most arrogant and selfish people in the world, I think this is the conservative version of what they would like Canadians to be, not what we actually are. Canadians have a very long history of going the extra mile or ten to help others, on the climate change issue alone Harper and his merry band are betraying a very important tradition of compassion in Canada, just because they may lack that quality doesn't mean most of here do.

Climate change is already damaging global economy, report finds
Economic impact of global warming is costing the world more than $1.2 trillion a year, wiping 1.6% annually from global GDP
I also don't think this lack of compassion shown by the current "conservative" party is representative of traditional conservatism in this nation, so the real support base for Harper is much smaller than is being advertised here.
If you consider the degree of liberal corruption this far into the Cretien Dynasty, the conservatives are doing a bang up job.
Those are amazing sensory filters you've got working there.
Robocalls to thousands of Canadians attempted to steal their legal right to vote from them, I'd call that corruption of the worst sort.
Recently Irving shipyards got $288 million to
re-design a ship it cost others nation less than half to build the entire vessel, I'd call that corruption. Billions of dollars have gone out in stimulus spending mostly with no oversight most of it to conservative ridings. We've just seen how the Auditor General has found $3.1 billion dollars has simply disappeared, the conservative government could be one of the most crooked in our history, but it's so good at blocking access to information it may takes years to reveal.
