Liberals Failing to Track Syrian Refugees: AG 1:52
OTTAWA — The Liberal government is struggling to track the impact of its historic effort to resettle upwards of 40,000 Syrian refugees, the federal auditor general concluded Tuesday in his fall report.
Markers like how many kids are in school or how many Syrians are on income assistance weren’t being measured between fall 2015 and the spring of this year, the period examined by the federal watchdog, raising questions about what happened to the population once they began to settle in Canada.
(The ugly truth is that LIE-berals do NOT want to know what is happening with all those potential future jihadists! LIE-berals know that Muslims who fail to integrate smoothly and spend long periods unemployed and in poverty are easier to fall into `radical` mode and attack US! LIE-berals are being hideously short sigfhted here as they seek to buy Muslim votes without the bother of devising any sort of long term plan to deal with them- socially, economically or militarily!)
“We were concerned about the department’s inability to track whether the Syrian refugees had access to basic provincial services, such as health care and education — especially considering that part of the department’s objective was to help Syrian refugees benefit from Canada’s social, medical, and economic systems,” the auditor general’s report said.
(One has to assume that a Syrian with a health car issue would simply go to the local emergency clinic and show them their landed immigration papers- supplied by LIE-berals when the Syrian entered Canada and that should be ID enough to get care- especially as nobody would wish to turn them away and later be charged with `Islamophobia`!)

While a rapid impact evaluation the population was conducted by the government for the first wave of arrivals, the auditor general went digging over the longer term, looking to see whether Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada was both providing the services newcomers needed and tracking what happened next.
“This audit is important because the Syrian refugee initiative will succeed in the long term only if the people it brought to Canada integrate into Canadian society,” the report said.
(IN summer of 2017- the last time LIE-beral loving news media gave us an update- over NINETY PERCENT of the Muslims brought to Canada by LIE-berals were still unemployed after a full year here! Although about 50 percent of privately sponsored Muslims had found work- it speaks to the reckless and careless govt selection process- Sun writer Bonokowski has referred to Our idiot Boy Justin as the muslim collecting equivalent of a “crazy cat lady” as Our idiot Boy seems compelled to `collect` every Muslim he sees. While the federal government did have a plan to track outcomes, it either didn’t collect all the required data outright, or had trouble getting from the provinces and settlement organizations, the report said.
(Poverty pimps within the “settlement organizations” think that handing out adverse information about Muslims is detrimental to LIE-beral policy- poverty pimps and Cdn public are working in opposite directions- the poverty pimps want MORE Muslim refugees while ordinary Cdns want many LESS of them as they are a proven danger! Hence the extreme reluctance of “settlement organizations” and LIE-berals to collect any useful information!)
(I would also point out that through sprimg and summer 2017- Cdn news media routinely kept us updated on how many illegals were crossing our borders- but now that Cdn opinion has hardened against illegals- our media and LIE-berals have gone SILENT! A radical minority of loons aided by LIE-berals who are desperate to cling to power at any price are doing an end run around our laws and public opinions and common sense! A major reason for LIE-berals being unable to settle the NAFTA trade deal is Yankee fear they will end up importing jihadist terror cells along with their Cdn dairy and softwood lumber products. The LIE-beral concept of national security is so sloppy and so ill formed that it threatens to persuade Yankees to shut the border to ANY Cdns or their trade!)
So what happened, for example, was that Syrians in some parts of the country faced lengthy wait times for language classes because the government wasn’t keeping an eye on those wait lists and in turn ensuring funds were being allocated where they were needed most.
Still, by March 2017, the auditor general concluded that more than 80% of the new arrivals had their needs assessed, and 75% of those who received language assessments did attend language classes.

Then, some of those services were cut when the government delayed getting the necessary funds to the settlement organizations providing the programs.
The department asked the organizations to keep going with the programs with the promise the money would come later, but 16 groups weren’t prepared to take that risk, the report said, and in turn cut programs for three months earlier this year.
(Our idiot |Boy ran a $31 billion dollar deficit in 2016 and a deficit of around $20 billion in 2017 and we really ought to ask WHERE the money went! It certainly did not go into new transit or repairs and expansion of affordable housing! A cynic would suggest that MUCH of that 2 year- $50 plus billion dollar debt wenbt into the pockets of civil service Hogs! Newspaper articles from 2010-2012 detailed the massive- and GROWING federal pension deficit! In 2012, media told us federal LIE-berals had made pension promises to Hogs that totalled over $300 billion dollars! With that amount GROWING YEARLY as interest on the debt accumulated! WE know also that Ontari-owe LIE-berals have made promises to OSSTF/our high school teachers totalling $55 billion dollars- with EIGHTEEN MORE provincial Hog unions in line right behind OSSTF! And then we must add in the municipal Hog unions and the Hogs at crown corporations such as ORNGE, E-health, Metrolinx, the colleges and universities and etc- how many more hundreds of billions have LIE-berals promised these Hogs? With Muslims being merely a tiny part of the total problem- but LIE-beals are quite happy to use Muslim needs as a smoke screen for other massive issues!)

The deadline was later bumped back and the budget exponentially bumped up — just over $950 million has been set aside. One major increase came in settlement funding. Originally, $141 million over four years was set aside, but that budget was boosted to $257 million over five years when it became clear the Syrians were arriving with higher-than-expected needs.
(And of course there is rapidly growing need for security monitoring of Muslims- that LIE-berals IGNORED till it became obvious that Yankees might kill NAFTA unless LIE-berals got serious about national security! And maybe we should aks which govt fund the LIE-berals raided so they could give Omar Khadr his $10 million dollar reward for teaching Taliban fighters how to make explosive devices in Afghanistan? With another $27 million dollars in Cdn funds handed out ot 3 other Muslims who also whined about the treatment they got from Yankee security forces? Should we ask how many English as a second language classes could hve been bought for $37 million dollars? Its all just our Crazy cat lady collecting Muslims without having any clue what to do with them! Or how to prevent them from blowing up our furniture and our lives! )
While the resettlement program has been lauded the world over, one of the main criticisms was that the Liberals rolled it out without enough advance planning for what would happen once the Syrians actually arrived on Canadian soil.
(If LIE-beals had made detailed advance planning then Cdn attitude to Muslims and illegals could be counted on to harden against MUCH FASTER- hence LIE-beral vagueness!)
At one point, the pace of new arrivals was so fast, settlement organizations asked for a pause, while early issues with access to housing saw some refugees spending weeks or months living in hotels, unable to get their kids in school or start language classes.
(And should we ask if Muslim need for affordable housing is behind the sudden LIE-beral interest in repairing our affordable stock? And is Muslim demand for low cost housing part of the reason for news headlines screaming about rent price gouging in 2017? There was no big news about rent gouging BEFORE large numbers of Muslims appeared in our major cities. LIE-berals have suddenly expanded rent controls to ALL apartments and condos- are LIE-berals picking the pockets of landlords and limiting their profits on behalf of Muslims? One has only to think of the summer 2017 rent strike at 11 buildings in Toronto/Parkdale- with the landlord being the gravy hungry Alberta Municipal Employees Hog union! LIE-berals are going in circles here- Hogs desperately need MORE gravy- LIE-berals desperately need both Hog and ethnic votes to cling to power- with Cdns already enraged by LIE-beral tax gouging and ill considered immigration policy- it’s a fiscal death spiral that threatens to expose ALL LIE-beral policy as TOTAL FAILURE! Hence LIE-beral unwillingness to spell out their lack of success in ANY area!)
The auditor general made four recommendations in the report, encouraging the Immigration Department to improve its systems for getting money out the door and tracking outcomes, while also ensuring service providers understand what’s expected of them.
In its formal response, the Immigration Department said it agrees with the suggestions and work is underway.
(But do NOT hold your breath while you wait for LIE-beral efficiency and candour on this issue!)
