Britain's second city Birmingham turned into Guy Fawkes warzone

West Midlands Police - one of the country's largest police forces - battled with thugs on the streets
The 5th November is Guy Fawkes Night in Britain to celebrate the foiling of a Catholic plot to blow up King James I and MPs in the Houses of Parliament in 1605 by Guy Fawkes and his Catholic terrorist mates.
To celebrate, fireworks are set off and bonfires are lit on a cold and dark night. It's like Britain's July 4th. Treacle toffee and black peas in vinegar are all the rage.
But last night West Midlands Police in Britain's second-biggest city Birmingham had to deal with those who marked the night using thuggery rather than simple celebrations.
Nobody was killed in Birmingham although West Midlands Police arrested several people as they successfully ending the mayhem...
