There is a thin line, but I wouldn't call it indoctrination. Call it buying votes yes, but not indoctrination. Unless they're indoctrinating youth on the benefits of a properly inflated tire:p

Ha! Not quite. I happen to like nuclear power generation. I only went to the booth's because there were cute girls nearby, and I'd get to show off my muscles by pushing a car uphill ;)

Going around and handing out pamphlets, or having flashy displays to attract attention is one thing, people should see the bait for what it is and decide whether they want to hear the message or not before they swallow. Paying "members" to show up to demonstrations and handing them placards with political messages that they did not think up bothers me, putting people in position to take a stand when they do not know the issues. Look up the presidential advance manual to see the horrors that some organizations use its youth chapters for.
