I feel safer with the devil I know than the devil I don’t. I am sure you have heard that before.
That's why you're supposed to listen to how they answer from day to day and from audience to audience. Then you have an idea if they're true to their cause - or just people pleasing.
Vote informed. When you vote for the guy your daddy always voted for just because that's the guy your daddy votes for, you make your daddy's mistakes. yeah, I have heard the devil thing before. That works for used cars - not used car dealers. I believe it's best to make changes when more of the same means things will only get worse. Sometimes, I get burned (like when I voted for a brilliant statesman who turned out to be an idealistic conman - Mike Harris)
There's no such thing as safe when you're counting on someone else to make your decisions for you. Once they're in office, you mean nothing and you'll forget by next election time.
