The points of light being moved around are not on a single plane but in a 3d place some are galaxies that are either much closer or much farther behind the 'black circles'.

While the origin of the universe seems to be pretty much accepted as proposed I wish they now get into and onwith explaining the place that the universe expanded into. You must mean that very dark place where matter is spread around in an area so large that it cannot gather in a big enough ball to even be able to shed light via a single star (as we know them). Good luck in avoiding that 'black hole' or as one book calls it, the void.

What are the dimesions of a void? Is it cubical or sphereical? What I'm trying to emphasize is there's as much work to explain the nothing that the universe expanded into. How is it that that unarea was the exact size of the universe? If we are standing on a star at the circumference of the universe looking outward we would see nothing cuz something is not there yet? Am I thinking in the right direction?
It isn't a 'nothing' as it is that area where the matter that came from that created the 'big bang'. It would be like the two black holes animation except the 'merging' is friction orientated and that creates heat and a boom when it gets 'hot'

Our universe is about 0.00001% of the matter that is in the void. The temp is also absolute zero and no wind chill factor.
10,000 times the width of our universe and that is in any given direction. Past that is another 'area' so the void also had a finite area that is 'somewhat less' than the area after it which should also be about 10,000 the area of the void in total.
We see light, matter is not clumped together in a large enough clump for light to be shed. Dark Matter would be a better term rather than 'empty'.

yeah, I did the same, watched the explanation and description of how it happens,
in a language I could understand, and it did make some sense to me, but beyond
that, don't know.
