I'm of two minds on that, ts. IMHO, David Johnson was one of the best GGs we've had in a long time - arguably since Ray Hnatyshyn. He was worth every cent - again, IMHO. On the other hand, I still remember the profligate ways of Adrienne Clarkson. I also find it of interest that the last 3 women who filled the position have all been big spenders. Jeanne Sauve would not be amused.
