RE: GOP Silences Dems at

Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., chairman of the panel, abruptly gaveled the meeting to an end and walked out, followed by other Republicans. Sensenbrenner declared that much of the testimony, which veered into debate over the detainees at Guantanamo Bay, was irrelevant.

interesting how much use the word "irrlevant" gets used when a topic is geared into a "sensitive " issue. Seems dismissing such concerns is the way of the "GOP". Almost as if : "if one ignores it , it will go away" is the general MO.

Republicans have always had that arrogant way about themselves. This isnt exactly breaking news.

no one said it was. Maybe the point is that it seems so much more obvious now. Don't know why , but maybe because collectively we are paying much more attention to this now.....and examing the "language" they use.
