There are two possible offerings that God will accept. One if for a world in sin and the other is for a sinless world. So far the sinful earth has existed for about 6,000 years (from Adam), the new earth will last for 6,000B years. Just off the top of your head, of you had to live through both of them from start to finish which would you prefer to the the sinful one and which one the sinless one.
Ge:4:2-5:
And she again bare his brother Abel.
And Abel was a keeper of sheep,
but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
And in process of time it came to pass,
that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
And Abel,
he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof.
And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect.
And Cain was very wroth,
and his countenance fell.
Ho:4:3:
Therefore shall the land mourn,
and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish,
with the beasts of the field,
and with the fowls of heaven;
yea,
the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
At the cross blood sacrifice became an abomination to God, the offering by Cain will be acceptable all through the 1,000 years and all through the new earth era. To ensure that Jesus tales away all other flesh at the start and the people are not given in marriage so no children are born. Moses taught the temple service in a sinful world, in the 1,000 year reign the 24 elders from Re:4 will teach the 12 Tribes all there is know about Temple Service in a sinless world. The Gentile Church will be learning how to build pastures and cities in the new earth and together they will be the shepherds in the new earth and all the people not alive will be made alive and become the base for the flock, they will grow in number all the time and each couple will have 100 children, then they act as grandparents as they will be immortal yet still in school.
Isa:66:3:
He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man;
he that sacrificeth a lamb,
as if he cut off a dog's neck;
he that offereth an oblation,
as if he offered swine's blood;
he that burneth incense,
as if he blessed an idol.
Yea,
they have chosen their own ways,
and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
Isa:65:16-17:
That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth;
and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth;
because the former troubles are forgotten,
and because they are hid from mine eyes.
For,
behold,
I create new heavens and a new earth:
and the former shall not be remembered,
nor come into mind.
Isa:66:22:
For as the new heavens and the new earth,
which I will make,
shall remain before me,
saith the LORD,
so shall your seed and your name remain.
