Holes in the ozone layer are not generally connected with global warming but they are related, however tenuously. Holes in the ozone layer are caused by CFCs and other ozone-depleting chemicals in the atmosphere. CFCs are also greenhouse gasses along with CO2 and methane and others that contribute to global warming. While the surface of the Earth warms, the upper aymosphere cools and increases the area where stratospheric clouds form. This increases the area susceptible to ozone depletion.

So the one will exasorbatethe other, I take it?

So if we by chance manage to hammer out a plan of action, is all this damage repairable?
I have honestly tried to find answers to these question, but I haven't found any as of yet.

This is an out and out untruth.

The growing unanimity is in the other direction entirely. The naysayers, generally, are not scientists and can point to no mechanism to support their claims. A recent press release stating that 18,000 scientists had signed a petition claiming that GW was not due to human actions was proven to be little more than a dishonest hoax sponsored by oil and industrial interests. The NAS, from whom the petition claimed support, quickly moved to distance themselves that petition.
There's quite a few untruths in the OP.

The rise and fall of temps on our Blue Planet will always be. The Earth will warm up and it will cool down. There will be ice ages and there will be palm trees in Canada. Plates in the earth will move and collide long after our species has died out. What you see out your front door, or on the way to work will not be recognizable 1 Million years from now.

Outside of any Biblical catastrophe or cellestial event that destroys the planet as a whole body the earth will continue it's change of both temperature and geography.

There, is the problem. It is likely that the damage is repairable, but over how long? How long can we let it go before it is irreparable? The planet Venus's high temperatures cannot be explained entirely by the fact that it is closer to our sun. Venus's atmosphere is largely greenhouse gas(CO2 ) and the atmospheric temperature reaches 490 degrees C.

What oil & gas controlled media firm did this article come out of. It's like reading about how safe cigarettes are for you back in the 60s or 70s. All this "wonders of technology" and how it's all been beneficial. What a joke.

And lets blame it all on Suzuki, he wants to keep us from the paradise that unrestrained technology offers us. GET HIM!!!

First of all the science is behind Suzuki and so are any credible scientists. The ones claiming that Climate Change isn't a serious problem have been bought and paid for by industry.

And Suzuki and others aren't even claiming that we need to do away with technology, just move away from fossil fuel based industry. Guess the multi-billionaires are getting worried about losing their golden goose. You know, the one that's been crapping all over the Earth for decades. It's time to clean up the mess, even if the spoiled brats among us don't like it.

I dissagree...

1) Can you prove all the scientists against this are petroleum shills?
2) The whole scheme seems more tuned to wealth transfer then actually doing something benefitial.

Thats very true, but the earth changes without regards to our economy, longevity or food supply.

So would should quit exasperating things that end up screwing us over, even if they don't harm "the earth" they harm our society.

The evidence is overwhelming for Climate Change and it's not going to be beneficial for most. It's going to mean drought, extreme weather and food shortages. The output of rice growth is going to go down in crucial areas as the average temp goes up meaning massive famine. Any scientist would need to be nuts or bought off to fight against mitigating this change.

It is going to mean wealth transfer, that was my point. The people who have been getting filthy rich from fossil fuels are going to have to make a switch and they're dragging their heals and screwing things up for the rest of us. I have no sympathy for a group who have shown how little concern they have for the welfare of others. As far as I'm concerned you can put the heads of BIG OIL and BIG TOBACCO in the same ship, take it out in the middle of the ocean and sink it.

There's not a one of them that's worth 1/1000 of a David Suzuki.

You know, you might be surprised as to the motives of some scientists. Some may claim it is not all man made, but there is an issue, in need of addressing.

Many of the scientists I see slagged here are among those.

I'm not sure I can affirm your adoration of Suzuki though, he's been caught just one to many times stretching the truth and being a bit childish.

I don't adore Suzuki, I respect his courage in going against a statis quo that is destroying us. I know enough about about history and science to understand that many people need to be shocked before they'll change. And I have no doubt change is needed here.

I don't think Suzuki and others like him are motivated by greed here, I have not the slightest doubt that the people on the other side of this equation are.

David Suzuki's reputation among his peers, and internationally, has not suffered. This is a man held in high esteem in the manner of Carl Sagan. The guy has about fifteen honorary doctorates from universities outside of Canada.

I wouldn't dissagree with you on that for a million bucks(sorry I had to say that), but from where I sit, Kyoto has all the ear marks of a socialist global welfare scheme. If it truly were, "just about the environment", there would be no exemptions, there would be no credit selling/trading. It would be all about clean up or else. So when I see a bunch of socialist thinkers, like Suzuki and company, calling anyone that dare dissagree with them liars, deniers, shills, etc. It only fuels my suspicions.
