actually I am commenting on canadas snide criticisms of us political affairs.

"Ya was and in complete agreement : Most constructive plan of action is for the US TO MIND ITS OWN FECKING BUSINESS and stop trying to take over the world. ....by a perpetual war. (perpetual war is what the US has started......as under a perpetual war they can grant themselves even more power )

savage warmongers/murderers , in suits. Nothing civilized about what the US is doing or saying now. It has regressed in time....into another era. Time warp comes to mind."

appearantly this is your idea of staying on track.

the ME ....I had someone tell me that he had read something in the me in regards to "feminism but I have to say I don't know what the Me is. I couldn't actually find anything about the ME. appearnantly it's some sort of publication but that's all I know about it.

ME = Middle East.

and for the record .......there is nothing "snide" about the critique of the current US administration.... We are quite open about it..... and those that defend the US atrocities or gov't ...fall into the same level of critique. ......er.......debate.

maybe I was thinking the "WE" perhaps??
is that a publication.

no but I did spend a lot of time there. I have witnessed two terrorists attcks and have spent the past six years invovled with the issues.

I am not sure if you've ever experienced terrorism yourself or not but it's really not cute. and while you may think the US is "paranoid" there's a lot of potential for people to get blown up. very complex situation. I don't agree with how it's doing , but if you think that it's the US's perpetual war, I can tell that you haven't really gotten too deep into the middle east agenda. I think canada is really really arrogant with it's criticisms. I personnally don't like them because canada isn't really in the crossifre. it's a different game when you're so involved. the Us doesn't really understand why iran really dislikes it. there are major players in this thing that I haven't even seen mentioned here. for you guys it's that the US sucks. but most people in the US don't have a clue about what kind of agemda they are being played into. being the biggest world power has many responsbilities

RE: Gingrich sees Iran th

Most of the Canadians on this board understand that most Americans aren't aware of the hidden agendas ongoing in American these days. Hell, I'm an American and I know for a fact that 90% of the people I encounter everyday aren't aware of them. Which I find frightening and sad.

But Canadians have as much right as anyone else to criticize those agendas, and in so doing, they aren't saying that America sucks, only that its current direction does.

There's nothing wrong with Canada; it's quite a nice place and most of the people I meet when I'm there are very nice as well. I'm actually planning to move to Canada eventually.

Question for you, Numbers: is your point on this thread to do with U.S. policy and Iran/the Middle East, or is your point simply that you want to bash Canada? Because this isn't a thread for bashing Canada... I believe you'll find one of those on another forum if you look. But this isn't it.

I agree 100% Summer, Most Americans are unaware of whats going on with their government or care, they just stay in their comfort zone and are content.

Oooo. Summer or jj, since you appear to fall under the 10% of Americans that know what's going on, how about you enlighten the rest of us by starting another thread. This isn't sarcasm, you seemed serious enough to believe it, I would appreciate some information sharing.

Why would you need a separate thread when there are plenty of them all over this board and others outlining what's going on?

Don't expect to be spoon-fed; read for yourself.

I see. That's what I thought. Bias running amok.

Dunno how you get bias out of my honestly expressed opinion. If you're seriously expecting me to believe that you've never heard that there are problems before having read my post and jj's response to it, that's rich. And if you think I should take the time to summarize here for you everything that's out there that you can read for yourself, then that's rich also, as I don't have that kind of free time and I have better things to do with it than to educate someone who ought to be doing their own reading.

I understand that you were just looking to make an unecessary and pointless dig, however. Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

Right Summer, you claim you are in the top 10% of the "illuminated" Americans that knows whats going on. You then tell me to read everything on this board to educate myself, from links which include but are not limited to The Axis of Logic, Information Clearinghouse and DemocraticUnderground.

Washing its dirty linen in public is an American passtime, something you choose to neglect. Where do you think most of the news comes from?

Do us a favor and stay in the "illuminated" 10%, or wherever your travels take you.

The fact is, I was responding to a post which is my right, and I also have a right to my opinion, most people I deal with day to day do not have a clue about whats going on in the world, they don't know their Bill of Rights, or the Constitution or much of anything else that comes to government. but seeing how I'm from Ohio and don't know anything, maybe I ought to change my avatar to

From your multitude of links on conspiracy theories it doesn't surprise me what you deem to be "uninformed".

What do conspiracy theories have to do with the Bill of Rights or the Constitution?

Maybe I ought to join the A.C.L.U. so I can be informed like you.

Not a ringing endorsement for your personality, l234321. If it was meant to intimidate, you've picked the wrong daisy here. I'd put my temper up against anyone's ... although I've learned over the years to get some measure of control over it. Just play nice and we'll all get along fine.
