Scratch, normally that is how it would work out. But as I said, conservatives are in a shock, for the life of them they cannot figure out how this Black Muslim managed to win the election; it has to be fraud on an unprecedented scale (I think they blame ACORN).
That is why they started their attack on the day Obama was elected (well, actually they never stopped, the attack on Obama the candidate morphed seamlessly into attack on Obama the President-elect). Incidentally, some of them still hope that Obama (sorry, Hussein Obama) will be disqualified from holding the office.
Some conservative filed a law suit, claiming that Obama is an illegal alien and therefore, not eligible to hold office. They lost in the lower courts; they went all the way to the Supreme Court. It was tossed out by the Supreme Court. But they hope to reinstate the lawsuit, and hope to prevent Obama from taking office.
Conservatives hate Obama even worse than they hated Clinton, if such a thing is possible.
The hatred Conservatives have for Obama is unprecedented, it has no parallels in history. So you really cannot expect them to wait for 100 days, or even one day to attack Obama. The attacks started right after he was elected and will continue non stop for the next four or eight years, depending.
