This is for all them Perennials, aka the Generation Why people. Be creative! You write that blog and chastise the man...whatever a blog is, and give it your all. Just remember that you'll be as corrupt as they are, once you reach your teens (or early twenties for the slow ones).

And while you're all about chastisin', don't forget to let us know where we can read your words. But be warned! Your local newspaper or the Google can't hold a candle to the Stumpville Nugget. It's read by folks from Nerly Corners to Seemyville. They boast a circulation of close to 100.

You cannot hope to compete with the Nugget, but don't let anyone push you around. They said the same thing about me, but I won! I kept at it, and now I gotta column in the paper AND a radio show on CLOP AM – Dairy Air: What’s Behind the News.

You go, guys!

Now for the news.

My lead story: GOVERNMENTALS ARE GOIN' TO JAIL! They're finally gonna lock up some of them government people and put some on display on Parchment Hill in Ottawa. It’s pay back time!

The folks hereabouts, especially Seemyville residents, will be happy. For years, they tried to get a post office in town so they could mail letters. The feds kept sayin’ no. But a few months ago, some government fellow showed up and erected a red and white pole beside the dump. Yep, Canada Post's familiar colours - red, white and blue appeared in town. Somebody in Ottawa was lyin'! Can you imagine that?

The Nugget run a special Wednesday edition. The headline read –

CANADA POST COMIN' TO SEEMYVILLE!

My next story: LEAP YEARS - ANOTHER GOVERNMENT FAIL. And some of you readers don't get it neither. Feb 30th and 31st only happen every four years, okay? I visit Walt Disney World every Feb 30th because most people don't think that it's open.

Every time I’ve been there on the 30th or 31st of February, the staff pull out all the stops to make your visit memorable. They really try to make your experience unique.

I have a 6 yr old granddaughter that just loves the unicorn rides. Did you know that Disney is the only unicorn breeder in North America? They are such gentle creatures that purr and hum when they are happy.

We also enjoy the Fairy Gardens. Disney World is the only place that has live fairies in their Euro Garden Amphitheatre and Park.

Finally, PERENNIAL VISION. you Perennials best pay attention to the style of journalism that we pride ourselves at, or for, here at the Nugget. Remember, be robust! Be honest! Or as honest as you can manage.

Access for all is a cornerstone of The Nugget's founder, J. Suggs Biffy. It has guided our editorial policy since 1891. In keepin' with 'One community, many voices', we invite our readers, the ones what can write, to drop us a line and tell us how we're doin'.
