Selective hearing
As usual......spot the mistake.....but not the immediate correction...

I made it easy for you so you don't have to look for it

Ezra Levant - YouTube

Selective hearing? It was right at the beginning of the show. And it was wrong. The last time I watched Ezra he was regurgitating some old myth about engineers wearing rings made from the iron of a collapsed bridge in Quebec--again wrong. He just one of those guys who thinks that the passion of your argument is more important than its truthiness.

The point is the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council is not, in any way, a governmetn entity. It is made of industry representatives. That is what they misrepresent here. They state that it is a "federal regulatory agency" when it is an industry group.

Further more, Dire Straits were not a "lousy," "stupid" or "crummy" pop band. Steyn doesn't know what he's talking about either.

And that sums these guys up--not just Steyn and Levant but the whole punditry constellation. It's entirely made of people who simply don't have the wisdom to keep their mouths shut when they don't know what they are talking about.

Waitaminnit--I should be doing that job.

Ezra is a provocateur.......he often is so busy talking he goes slightly off course. I still like him.

.

I have a soft spot for Ezra for some reason.

No I am asking who you think would do said challenging ?
Dance around at will .

Steve Pakin is a good example, but compared to Ezra Levant, almost anyone would challenge him more.

There you go.....Your version of evil........

You seem to fundamentally misunderstand what freedom of speech is. Freedom of speech doesn't guarantee you an audience. Just because Levant is free to kill air time with all sorts of stupidity doesn't mean everyone has to watch it.
