The season finale was confusing to say the least. could not make head or tails of it. It could easily be re-named: The Day Fringe Died. Up to that episode I enjoyed the series. One can only hope, that should it continue, the writers will allow us to follow the episodes with some degree of clarity. It is not for a lack of intelligence...the episode just did not make any sense. If it continues to get darker I will need to give it up as TV viewing.
Fringe is always confusing. As usual the season finale leaves another question unanswered. Looking forward to next season.
The episode was supposed to be the Series ender. However surprising Fox renewed for one more season. The episode was in the can & it was too late to massage the outcome. Take a look at the ratings you'll understand why renewal was unexpected.
