He was charged on a warrant issued in the US, Jay. He faces no charges in Canada, but the US government is seeking his extradition to stand trial in the US where he will face a sentence of 10 years to life. For selling pot seeds.

Not only that, but according to Cannabis Culture, it is very possible that the DEA is faking evidence.

"And how about another direct quote from Hitler himself?

"We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions"

(Speech of May 1, 1927. Quoted by Toland, 1976, p. 306)

Clearly, the idea that Hitler was a Rightist is probably the most successful BIG LIE of the 20th Century. He was to the Right of the Communists but that is all. Nazism was nothing more nor less than a racist form of Leftism (rather extreme Leftism at that) and to label it as "Rightist" or anything else is to deny reality.

The word "Nazi" is a German abbreviation of the name of Hitler's political party -- the Nazionalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiter Partei. In English this translates to "The National Socialist German Worker's Party". So Hitler was a socialist and a champion of the workers -- or at least he identified himself as such and campaigned as such."

If certain people had their way, I'm sure I would be either sitting in a cell, or shot.

Quit trolling, ITN. Either join the conversation or STFU.

No I don't think I'll STFU. You made a comment and I elaborated. Your judicial system considers books that depict homosexuals f*cking, hate or obscene. I'm trying to figure out which one it is.
So you can have Canadian authorities issue arrest warrants for booksellers in the US that ship these books and are breaking Canadian law.

Give it up, Jay. If you are down to quoting the revisionist freaks at Free Republic to back up your story, you've not only lost but made yourself look like a fool. The fact is that Hitler was a fascist. That is how he was judged in his time, when fascism was a common political view, and that is how history has judged him.

Neo-conservatism/neo-liberalism and fascism do carry many of the same hallmarks though, so you aren't far off when you say, "It must be my neo-conservativism at work."

This thread is about Marc Emery though, not Jay's many flaws, so I suggest we get back to discussing why our government is colluding with the US to silence a Canadian activist by arresting for what are clearly political reasons.

These actions are only possible with a complacent society. With Liberals like Colter so easily subverting our sovereignty the only hope is that individuals will get real pissed and start to reclaim Canada as a tolerant, free society. I'm trying my best but am limited by disability. All I can say is that Marc Emery is a valiant fighter for freedom in the same way as Gandhi or MLKjr. That this is unrecognized shows the effectiveness of the DEA and their neocon (read Nazi) masters.

There have been other cases, some in which the DEA acted illegally in Canada. What's really frightening about the Emery case is that it is so clearly politically motivated and our government just went along with it.

The link is part of a decision by a BC Supreme Court Justice, ITN. Your beloved government was breaking Canadian law, so she refused to extradite somebody they had accused of cocaine smuggling.

Last year, your Texas State troopers were committing illegal searches outside of Hope BC.

In the Emery case the head of your DEA has given very political reasons for Emery's arrest.

Keep your phony war on drugs, your regressive government policies, and your crooked cops in your own country, ITN. We don't want them up here. We don't want them arresting our citizens, we don't want them teaching our cops illegal search techniques, and we don't want them bullying our politicians. Keep them at home.

That's not what I asked, have any of your parties complained in parliament or not?. As you say, stop trolling and STFU if you can't participate.
