Very good. I had not been there for a year and I caught up with some relatives. Ernie was gone. Weather was nice. Actually saw "The Island" at aberdeen. Did drink beer and whiskey for 4 days straight days though, what else are you to do when you are on holidays? Plus I like going to Surpluss Herbies to see if anything interesting is for sale and stock up on fishing gear.


It was shameful they kept it quiet for 18 months.

Is mailing seeds against the law though? I know here in Vancouver there are many suppliers who mail seeds and Canada post or RCMP never seemed to have a problem until now?

Maybe they do not like Marc because he is so outspoken?

But American Governents sure love butting noses into forgein countries eh? I guess they are control freaks. I wish the DEA would be booted out of Vancouver and Canada.

People say "Oh he is a drug dealer" and deserves jail yadda yadda yadda but thats not the point, the point is what is next on the American Agenda?

BINGO!

Emery uses the money from his business to fund not only activism in Canada, but in the US. He helped them set up their Marijuana Party. He gives money to their activists. This is very much politically motivated.

Right on, Rev! I emailed Irwin Cotler (cc'd my MP) the minute I read the story. It stinks to high heaven. Agree or disagree with his agenda, Marc Emery is 100% a political activist, not a common criminal. The US's drug laws are a disgrace, and our government should not offer up one of its citizens as a sacrifice in the name of better relations. Please email, or call Irwin Cotler, and make sure you copy your MP. You know this Liberal government will bend any way the wind blows.

If Marc Emery was a US citizen, living in the US, exporting child pornography to Canada, what would your stand be? Would you want the US to arrest him and extradite him to Canada?

They could charge him there. That's not really a real comparison though because opur laws are similar on child porn.

A better comparison would be gun laws, where our laws are not only different but heading in quite different directions. Emery being charged under US law and extradited into their system is the equivalent of a US gun dealer being charged under Canadian law because he sold guns to Canadians.

I emailed the PM and all the NDP and Liberal MP's in BC. I never e mailed my own MP as he is ......Gurment Grewal. I also sent a fax to Irwin Cotler informing him of my displeasure over this intereference by a forgein country and how the Marijuana laws should be updated.

Why keep having pot laws and fighting a so called criminal activity that so many people participate in. And not to mention how it is basically only rarely ever enforced. They go after grow ops but they seem to have to be busted many many times before they even get a few months in slammer and by not really enforcing the laws on Pot, the government gives the impression its ok, then they all of a sudden enforce them at Americas demand :roll: is strange if you ask me. Not to mention how they keep saying they plan on decriminalizing it.

Bush and his posse should know Marijuana is here to stay and it aint going anywhere. Just like they will never win the war on coke from Colombia.

They are going after him because of who he is, nothing more. Its all bs.

You forgot the DEA office in Kelowna too 8O .Ten penny theres a big difference between pot seeds and Child porn :roll: are you alright are you feeling okay maybe you need a joint to relax :p This is total bullshit whats next are they going to come up and arrest people for what they might do :evil: F :x ck the US goverment oops I mean crimanl organization .Thats there problem they're not getting a cut like with coke and heroin :p
