OK this is a triumph for me. There's a model known as the kawasaki rose, which is kind of a rite of passage for the origamists. I learned to do it a long time ago and it's a wonderful model but there also a revised version, which has extra petals and is a much more realistic design. Ive been trying to make it on and off for years.

Last night shaw's power supply went tits up at my apartment and so i was forced to look away from the computer for a while and decided to have another go.

I did it!
