"I was in shock. I was in disbelief. I was actually sick to my stomach, couldn't see what I hit," Tschetter testified, his voice shaking as he wiped tears from his face.
'Everything was a great big blur'

"He recalled wanting a drink of water, so he reached under his seat and took a drink from a bottle, before realizing it was vodka, Tschetter said".

I wander if there are any other cement trucks or any heavy equipment were the operator will have a bottle of vodka under the seat.

Seeing that the bottle was open under the seat, wouldn’t that indicate that the operator has a drinking and driving problem, where dose the NO GUILTY PLEA COMES IN?

what TYPE of a lawyer would sit and defend a person who's testimony said he was rushing to go back to the year, because his truck was freezing up, not only he did not pay attention to the speed he was doing under freezing conditions, he also subjected the people around him on the highway by the threat of a drunk on the wheel of heavy duty vehicle, bull sh!t, he only took a drink of vodka by mistake.

This drunk has no balls to admit that he is a mess a total mess, and he is manipulating the justice system through his lawyer with a bull sh!t plea. Drinking and driving kill’s people and that is what this guy did.

A judge is now deliberating on the fate of a cement truck driver accused of killing five people in a crash.

Daniel Tschetter is charged with five counts of manslaughter and five counts of criminal negligence.

In final arguments, the Crown argued that Tschetter could be convicted on manslaughter because of the evidence of Tschetter's driving and actions after the crash.

But the defence argued that the manslaughter charges weren't proven.
Christopher Gautreau, his daughters Alexia and Kiarra, Gautreau's girlfriend Melaina Hovdebo and her son Zachary, were all killed in the crash.

Tschetter has testified that he was having a bad day and wasn't paying attention when his truck rammed a car stopped at a red light lights on Macleod Trail South.

He also told the court that he accidentally drank from a bottle of vodka, thinking it was his water bottle.

A decision is expected to be handed down in early May.
