and why bother?
Centuries of Warming Due to Humans
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/020207F.shtml
This is what we need now - the hard facts of worst-case scenarios plus real and logical solutions that do not pander to the whims of the wealthy elite oil interests.
The fossil fools [oil people] will insist on a centralised energy system like we have now, instead of "renewables on site" that gives the added protection of having power when the grid is down. So, those fossil folls have to go, we do not have time to let them slow down installations of renewable energy systems that will ultimately be what runs our world in the future.
Chavez is the main proponent of using oil revenues to build solar and wind power systems. Imagine PM Harper trying to do that - and since he is hamstrung by his corporate connections, we have to get rid of him in an election soon. ["oh ya, but the Libs didn't do it last time" cry will go out, but remember who resisted them in trying to ratify Kyoto, which is just a minimum starting point].
The public is starting to get a taste of how good it is to save our world. Lets hope nobody gets in their way, especially our leaders.
