Eaglesmack you really have a problem.

Christians have killed many tens of millions of more people in its history up to the 21st century than this little wave of Muslim extremism.

Don't forget, Christianity is to blame or partially to blame for at least World War two which is 60 million people.

How is Christianity to be blamed for WWII?

Certainly there were a lot of predominatly Christian nations fighting but the Japanese weren't Christian, nor the Chinese... and the Soviets were anything but Christian.

Yes Germany was mostly a Christian nation but they attacked all sorts of predominate Christian nations right off the bat. WWII was not started in the name of Christianity but out of greed and nationalism.

Not true, Five ... I'm the only one who doesn't really read a lot of the politics. The mods all do. :)

it could be argued that the anti-semetic aspects of nazism-- have their roots in christianity
ww1 and ww2-- in part do however clearly show---- the absolutely astounding hypocrisy-- of christians-- of predominantly christian nations-- it is a hypocrisy so wild so extreme so amazing-- you almost have to repect it--- this on top of the the rape of africa by the european christianofascists--- in the 1800s , the opiumisation of china, and the slave trade-- with good old Hawkins at the lead---all christianofascists
and So much more ---committed by christians-- let alone the catholic versus protestant wars and repression by both -- all of this and more much more --

jersays statement was i think was a gross underestimate
of the depravity
of those who claim to follow jesus

Ah, by using your analogy I suppose Adrien Arcand who formed the Canadian Nazi Party would mean that all Canadians were fascists. Gotcha.

Once again, since the 100 Years War in Europe there has not been a single war waged in the name of Christianity. The reason being is that the nation states of Europe were totally devastated because of Holy Wars between mainly Catholics and Reformist. After the Hundred Years War it was determined by the signers of the cease fire treaty that war over religion is simply not a reason that nations must go to war. The needs of the "nation state" MUST superceede religion.
