I understand fighting for a cause, but I don't think May is playing with a full deck. She should join the provincial legislature and fight for whatever cause she's all about that day.

Those of you that live in BC can fill us in on her strange ways.

Federal Green Party Leader Elizabeth May arrested at anti-pipeline protest
NDP MP Kennedy Stewart also taken into custody after entering court-imposed protest-free zone around property

Two federal politicians, including Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, have been arrested at a protest against Kinder Morgan's Trans Mountain pipeline expansion in Burnaby, B.C.

May and NDP MP Kennedy Stewart joined demonstrations on Friday, opposing construction of the federally approved Trans Mountain expansion.

May, the MP for Saanich–Gulf Islands, stood in line with activists at the gate of a Kinder Morgan worksite. She was arrested around noon PT and released within half an hour.

She said she's been charged with civil contempt for blocking the road. It is not a criminal offence.

I'd be surprised had she not turned up - though chaining herself to a bulldozer might have had more of an impact.

She's from the Left Coast, Murph............strange ways are inherent down there.........in some areas.
