We live in Canada, so that would be the response from 99% of the population - to do nothing and let the police handle it.

Unfortunately these people live in the states and in the US, people tend to think that the fiction poured out from FOX News is "gospel"

I don't think it only applies to the US and FOX..

Many believe what they see / hear on CTV, CBC, Global in Canada as gospel.

As to the US..... CNN and CBS have quite a good following that can equal FOX.. Might not be as much of a radical following but it is still there.. And as far as believing all that is said, well reporting is what it is.. You must take what is said with a grain of salt at times..

Actually, I wasn't referring to belief, but to response. If I saw my neighbour's house on TV with a claim that they are terrorists, I might believe it, or maybe just accept my ignorance of the matter depending on circumstances. But the point is, it would still be a police matter so it wouldn't be up to me to start foaming at the mouth, grab my battle axe, go to my neighbour's house and start swingin' as appears to have happened with the Fox news report. Yes, Fox news was wrong, but we all make honest mistakes at times. This rampage among the populace is not Fox's fault; the populace acted like barbarians.
