Family Day 2025 + Valentine's Day = ???

I noticed my takeouts were slightly cheaper. It was a PST holiday also in Ontario.
That would be noticeable. $5 on a hundy, not so much.
I will notice the 50 cents on a pint come April 1
Nope. I don't think we went to a restaurant during that time. Bought some building supplies and had to pay GST. So not much of a tax holiday.

Valentine’s Day. Couple of tiny overpriced steaks, but they were damn good. Quiet night, but it was nice.
Tonight will be a good home made feed! Sausage casserole. Smells fantastic already…& later on Netflix, indoors, ‘cuz Canada & mid-February.
With the promise of a light at the end of the winter tunnel, at least as a reprieve, so let’s hope that’s not a moving goal post also.

Woke up on "Valentines Day", went downstairs to grab a morning beverage, saw my wife sitting on the couch and said, "Happy contrived commercialized bullshit Day, Dear" and she just fucking howled in laughter.
