Family tradition- Service to the country-

and obviously, as far as the board conservatives and conservatives in general are concerned, obeying the law and only taking the perks that one is owed for service is worse than stealing from the public purse by submitting fraudulent expense claims.

General submits expense claim , hmmn will you refuse your General ?
So who is Leslie the general of from this crowd: "independent approvals for every expenditure are required, as directed by the Treasury Board of Canada"?

I think those cheating senators started a witch hunt (initiated by the Gliberal opposition who are just itching to pounce on any excuse). It's just politics as usual, anything that even remotely seems like a reason for burning at the stake will do, whether it is apt or not.

Leslie from what i understand is quite wealthy- prob had a house in the 1 mil range- figure out the RE fees on that one.
As to your point- some yes- some no- It can appear to be quite a sum, that is until the facts come out.
I read the news that day, not hard to see a smear job.

Leslie informed the Minister, as Commander of the Army, we get this equipment for the troops in Afghnaistan, or you get my resignation.
Then going after the gravy train of contractors- payola for govt friends.
