2026 World Cup Qualifier

It was men against boys tonight as a strong England side qualified for the 2026 World Cup in Canada, USA and Mexico after an easy win against Latvia in Riga.

The No4 ranked team in the world outmatched their opponents (World No133) in physicality and speed to qualify for the tournament as one of the favourites to win it for the first time since 1966.

England are looking strong under their new German manager Thomas Tuchel: Who says he took on the job with the aim of winning the World Cup.

Unlike their 3-0 friendly victory against Wales last week where they faded off towards the end, tonight England remained strong and looked determined to score right till the end.

England are now unbeaten in an incredible 37 World Cup qualifiers - more than any other European team right now.

What do you think? Should I go to one of the 9 World Cup games in Vancouver next June?
Better off to spend your money buying property in the hinterland. I read it on a forum somewhere. It will cost about the same.

World Cup will be a flop in North America without the fans. Lots will come but it won't be the same. I'll be surprised if all games played in Canada are sold out.

Go Croatia !

Oh they will be sold out. Whitecaps put more asses in the seats at BC Place than the Lions
