The polls once again were proven wrong. The predicted Blue Wave was nothing more than a ripple so you can see why the Alt-Left fascists are so angry.

The Democrats actually got more votes than the Republicans did when they flipped the House back in 2010, but GOP gerrymandering and deliberate voter exclusion made a complete victory impossible. I expect that with the seven governorships the Democrats won they will be working to eliminate some of that in the next couple of years. Who knows the US might eventually even become a real democracy. Mind you as a GOP supporter I expect you don't really care about democracy do you?

Why wasn’t the blue wave bigger?

There were no polls predicting a blue wave. The polls had the dems winning the house and the gop keeping the senate and increasing their majority.

as predicted.

2016 remains the lone question mark as far as the polls go.

It was Democrat Gerrymandering in PA, VA, and NV that helped to make it a Blue Trickle.

But your salty tears are duly noted.

Oh dear indeed, if you think it freedom and democracy are not linked. It is time to stop making excuses for the decline of US democracy.
You mean the decline relative to when non-whites and women weren't free (1776-1968), or the decline relative to when gays couldn't marry (1776-2015)?

The decline since people with moneybags figured out how to corrupt Congress. That happened prior to about 1850 BTW. Since then it has gotten worse with deliberate disenfranchisement of minorities, gerrymandering on a national scale; and more and more money.
