I just wanted you to know how I see my rock grow.
How is that. Please expand upon that. How does your rock grow?

Greetings to you all,
This next part of our dear brother Luke’s writings is easily misunderstood, and I have clarified it here with that wisdom and knowledge which is given to me in the Lord Jesus Christ, all honor to him. Amen.
“25. Now there went with him great multitudes: and he turned, and said unto them, 26. If any man cometh unto me, and hateth not his own father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:25-26)
This part is easily to understand like that the christians are like bound to hate with hate to them relatives according to flesh. But the real message in this write is this, that when our Lord speaks those word in Judea in those days, he mean that his follower should not be pleased in those days judaism, what their family members was represent, because the jews has grown apart from Yahweh.
So it is about to hate the manners of peoples also in near by, but the people himself we should always love. And today is much a same situation in our lifes.
Here our dear brother Matthew writes about this same teaching.
“37. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.” (Matt 10:37)
So let us remember to have always love for the others, but also let us remember to beware the godless manners of this world.
May God bless you all in your repentance in our Lord Jesus.
All thanks and honor to Yahweh the creator of the heaven and earth, through our Lord Jesus Christ, forever and ever.

Agree, Mikko. Unless we regard our original inheritance in Adam as rubbish and discard it, we cannot lay hold of the our new inheritance in Christ.

Hell, my mom was an abusive drunk, and my father a semi-rapist I ain't never seen. But I don't hate 'em, so I guess I'm not good enough for the Kingdom of Heaven.
Damn it, let the weemuns wear pants on their head and talk in public, and next thing you know they're denying Gawd! It's being human that prevents you from being good enough for the kingdom of heaven...that and the fact that it doesn't exist.
You have to meet God before that difference is there and get the emotional peace of mind that goes with it.
Jesus said that after 40 days alone with God in the wilderness and a few other fairly impressive things. Left unsaid is your parents will love God more than they do their own children so unless that condition also exists then they haven't met God yet.
If that condition doesn't exist for you then the law about respect for parents is the one that takes over.
Damn it, let the weemuns wear pants on their head and talk in public, and next thing you know they're denying Gawd!
Maybe the fundie Muslims, fundie Jews, and fundie Christians have the right idea.
The Jews spent 40 years wandering in the desert with Moses searching for the promise land. If God only had 40 days for Jesus. No wonder Jesus felt abandoned and betrayed by God at his crucifixion.
Matthew 27:46 About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" (which means "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?").
Kinda belligerent for a practitioner of Karma-Wamba-Who'sYoMama, ain'tcha?
That is why the Hindus do their own self purification and spare themselves the heavy handedness of God.
yeah, its' the pants that do it. All hail the pants.
I'm more of a science girl to be truthful. Even if he showed himself I still wouldn't worship such a creature.

That was no ordinary apple. It was from the tree of knowledge. Humans were not created smart, they became smart by choice and that upset God.

You forget only Adam was created sinless. He was created from dust. But all his descendent were sinners. God did not create Jesus from dust so he too would be sinless. God created Jesus by fornicating with a sinner Mary. She might have been a virgin. But like all those after Adam, she was a sinner too. Mary should have been stoned for adultery because she begat children from Joseph while she was still married to god the father of her first born son Jesus.
Jesus died because he claimed to be the messiah and the Jews were disappointed. The Jews have seen god send Moses, David, Samson to deliver them in the past. Jesus was no messiah to them.
If Jesus was with sin as he was the product of fornication (god/Mary) and Mary was both a sinner as all descendants of Adam are as well as an adulterer for the reasons I gave. Then Jesus could not be sinless and therefore could not be the sacrificial lamb for our sins.
I am informed, with considerable heat, by a friend who has a Ph.D. in the field, that there is no "Old English." She assures me (pretty much at gunpoint) that it is Anglo-Saxon (Beowulf), followed by Middle English (Chaucer), followed by Modern English (Blackleaf), with Shakespeare right on the transition from Middle to Modern.
Funny the things folk get all worked up over.
it exists and all are welcome... :lol:It's being human that prevents you from being good enough for the kingdom of heaven...that and the fact that it doesn't exist.
no need to I promise...lolI'm more of a science girl to be truthful. Even if he showed himself I still wouldn't worship such a creature.
