The Baltimore prosecutor has decided not to proceed with this as a hate crime trial. I guess the cracker had it coming for being drunk in a black neighborhood.

Sometimes hoodlums are just hoodlums. Just because it is black-on-white, or white-on-black, does NOT automatically make it a "Hate Crime".

In fact, in order to actually make a case for a hate crime, you have to be able to show that the intent, from the very beginning, was based solely on the fact that the victim was of another race or ethnic group. Not just to rob them, or beat them, or even to murder them, but the entire basis for the crime was because of the race/ethnicity of the victim.

Of course, the "Crackers" don't like it that any black would NOT be charged with a hate crime. After all, every white is as pure as the driven snow, and we all know what "THEY" are!

I think the point I'm making is that it doesn't matter whether the victim is white or black. This is assault. Whether the Perp(s) are yelling Cracker or N!gger doesn't make the crime any worse. Tell a women who is raped that her rape isn't as bad as another rape because the perpetrator wasn't racially motivated.

Totally agree.

Cause a riot in Vancouver and numerous damage secular stores downtown and the police yawn when it comes to finding the culprits. Vandalise a synagogue/mosque/church and the police are all over it. Weird waste of tax dollars.
