Like healthcare, the Republicans had 8 years to craft an intelligent approach to tax reform but instead have again, waited til the last minute to “do their homework" and this is what they’ve got - a plan that does NOT help the middle class, does NOT lower the deficit (but raises it an estimated $1.5 TRILLION) and is pretty much designed to get the donor class back the money they paid in to re-elect these clowns in the first place.
Also, like their failed healthcare plan - wasn’t getting the Koch Bros. money back the only real point of the bill? (After all, the Koch’s flat-out told them at their recent conference in Colorado Springs that the campaign piggybank is closed if they don’t get tax “reform” finished.)
We are now one year from the time we can vote these guys out. Plenty to do in the meantime (like reading this for starters.)
