...um ... maybe you better scream. Noting the proclivity to rant in here, it's not all that hard to imagine how those with authority might see questions of their authority - in what I am safe to assume, based on the persistence of the rant is not strictly meek with hat-in-hand - as challenge to that authority. That just guarantees unco-oprative attitude and stonewalling. Remember: Whatever rage we can read in here will be magnified tenfold by the local demigogue when you aren't kissing ass with the proper respect and reverence he/she feels he/she deserves.

Woof!

Yeah well, I'm kind of in a 'unique' situation. Someone the authorities deem to be of greater 'value' is kissing their right ass cheek... It matters not how much puckering I do on their left... They have a bias toward the lips on the right!

When a kiss on the ass won't do the trick... give it a kick!

Not really so unique. Jail's full of innocent people. Best ways to attack any situation are fast and from the outside or bide your time and take advantage of the inevitable foul-up. I still think you're being given a gentle nudge to get outa Dodge.

Woof!

Just remember that the well that the injustice of your experience was drawn from is bottomless and there's more than enough injustice in the world to go around....

I don't think it's possible for you to find justice in this society, justice is for the wealthy as accomodated by the mindless....

what can I possibly say that would land me in trouble?
Don't worry about, just be yourself and say what you think. People will let you know when they're offended, and if you're even halfway intelligent you'll soon learn who deserves to be taken seriously and who doesn't. There are some biases here, as there are in any human community, but this particular one is remarkably open and tolerant, in my experience.

On the other hand, that might just reflect the fact that my biases are the community's biases, but I'd still say don't worry about, just be yourself and say what you think. As long as you can explain and justify what you say when challenged, don't sink into vituperation and personal abuse, remember that some important elements of human communication--body language and tone of voice--are missing here and make allowances for that, and are careful to say what you mean and mean what you say, you'll do fine and be welcome. The fact that you'd even ask such a question tells me that your heart and your intellect are in the right place. If you find the place congenial and interesting, you'll stay, if you don't, you won't. That's up to you, really, not we who've been here for a long time. From what I've seen of you so far, I hope you stay.

A gentle nudge? It's been anything but gentle. And I ain't going nowhere! I've been biding my time and they've fouled up plenty. There's nothing left for me to do but present my case.

I think my situation is kind of unique in that my adversaries screwed up from the very get go. They came after me without cause... Tried to hang a noose on me with allegations they had no way in hell of supporting... They failed to do any research and therefore failed to recognize that their tactics would be futile... And they failed to take into account that I'm basically fearless.

I know that last sentence sounds a bit... well, strange... but it's true. When you've nothing to lose, you've no fear of losing. And when you've everything to gain... Well, it's gonna take more than a few sticks and stones to break these bones. And it's not like they're going to kill me. That would be like conceding that they'd lost. And they're not going to do that... And they don't have the balls!

Yes, every single one of them. Including bubbles

Cool! Roll the ol' eyes like you're getting the better of me. lmfao!

If I had replied, "Yes, why do you ask?"

You would have responded with, "That's your family. That's why you're not getting justice."

Honestly, if that were my family, that would be exactly why we were going to get justice. We're hardly alone! The poor the country over have been victimized by self-righteous greed lords, and they're out for blood.

They're tired of hearing the "yeah, but", the "yes, you do have that right however...", the "is it really going to change anything if we right this wrong...", and other bullsh!t like that!

And to answer the question on whether it will actually change anything to right this wrong... my answer is: Yes! Because righting this wrong means that the ACTUAL CRIMINAL goes to jail!

That's my position on the matter! I don't expect that there's a man, woman, or beast on this planet that has a snowball's chance in hell of changing my mind.:smile::smile::smile::smile::smile: <<<---- That's my smiling face!!!
