I am suspicious of people sending offers in the mail all the time
get your card through the bank and stay with them

The problem with credit cards that people seem to have is this: it is used as a form of income and not convenience. Remember - if you don't have the cash you can't afford it on credit! The whole idea of credit is to use someone else's money for the allotted time whether it's 20 or 27 days or whatever and then pay it off when the bill comes in. In that way, it doesn't matter if the interest rate is 19% or 50% - it won't apply to you. People simply don't understand how credit cards work which is why so many get in over their heads. Whatever you put on it needs to be repaid!!

You can say "no" - to having more than one credit card or "no" I don't "need" it. The word "No" seems to be lost somewhere in our vocabulary LOL

The saltiness is just right in this thread. Could use a little more pepper :)

Maybe you’re best pal Cannuck will show up and you can butter him up like you love to do. Then the recipe will be just perfect.

Obviously, you've done something wrong, because my Capital One Costco MasterCard has the same grace period as before. Maybe if you had a decent income and credit rating, you'd be able to function in modern society.

Not sure why but before they updated the website my grace period was arround 25-26 days. And now after the online update its consistently 23 days. Something changed. Could be a glitch.

Im not staying with them to fins out . I did get a nice 500$ cash back from them this year :)

Sucks i had to pay them 20$ of interest that one month when everything changed. Cost of doing business i suppose

If you can't pay what you owe on a credit card there are alternatives - prepaid cards or debit credit cards - if you don't have the money you can't use them so it forces you to be a little more honest in your purchases.

Just sayin' you don't NEED credit; as avro22 stated - you choose to have credit but you have to be disciplined in its use.

I don’t have a problem paying my credit cards. :). They changed the grace period length on me on a month when their web sites and notification system were down. And i payed the bill the same day my due date has been For the past 2 years.

Ive payed my balance in full every single other month ive owned this credit card.
They had a major update on their web site that one time I was late 2 days pass on my payment

I am a paperless account. (You know because i try to be good to the environment, not just talke about it) actions speak louder than words

The issue is that Capital One screwed up and they don’t want to take responsibility.
